blinger® came to Angie Cella in a dream. She transformed her vision into a unique and patented hair gem bedazzler. blinger® has debuted on television, in celebrity circles, and is found in stores around the world.
One night, Angie Cella, a single mom of four, dreamed about a device that put gems in her hair. She woke up the next morning in love with the idea and believed she could invent it. A few weeks later, she had a second dream. In this one, God told her, “I want you to make this product.” What followed was a long and arduous journey. She hired four different engineering firms over four years, and none of them could produce a viable prototype. But she kept going, even with all the letdowns, and failed attempts, determined to answer the call God had put on her heart. Ultimately, after hiring her fifth engineering firm with the last of her money, she had a working prototype similar to the device we have today. Nonetheless, she had used all her savings, was maxed out in debt, and had been rejected by every investor she had approached.
The only way to bring her product to market would be to make one more and pretty big sacrifice, but this would be too large to not make sure her children were on board. She gathered them all in the kitchen and asked, “What if we sell the house and I’ll build the [manufacturing] tool myself in China? We’ll just live in an apartment for a year or two. What do you think?” They all looked at her with blank stares, and then her oldest, Cambria, said, “You’ve got to do it Mom.” That’s all she needed to hear. Within a couple months, Angie had sold their home, half their belongings, rented a townhome, and begun manufacturing blinger®.
Five months later, in October 2018, she took blinger® to Dallas Toy Fair and the Women in Toys event in Texas, where she had the opportunity to present her product to Walmart. By the end of the first day, it was a hit. blinger® has now been distributed all over the world.
Most of the journey was tough, so much so, I thought God had made His first mistake in choosing me. But I kept going, even when it was really hard. Everyone asks me now how I persevered, and my answer is because I really just couldn’t quit – it was simply something I had to finish. Plus, with God as my business partner, I knew it had to work out eventually. After all, there is no obstacle too big for Him.

I'm happy and excited, but also very humbled, with the launch of blinger® for women. It's amazing to be here finally, bringing the full vision of my product, my dream, to life. I want girls and women of all ages to shine brightly and to feel confident in who God created them to be. Our motto is to "Brighten Lives" and that's what I hope we do. Meet Liz Miller, from Pennsylvania! With over 25 years of experience in operations for businesses large and small, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her role. Her expertise as a leader in e-commerce, logistics, project management, IT, HR, administration, and vendor relations has facilitated the success of many companies, particularly in the start-up space. However, her passion for blinger® is what truly sets her apart. She loves seeing how the product brings joy to people and enhances their outfits. When asked which crystal she would be, she chose Crystal Aurora Boreale. This crystal is known for its stunning iridescence and ability to reflect a range of colors, just like the Chief Operating Officer's ability
to adapt to various situations and bring out the best in her team.
Meet Heather! From West Chester, PA, With over 30 years of experience in beauty marketing, Heather's resume reads like a who's who of the industry. She has worked with major brands such as L'Oréal, Lauder, The Limited, Interparfums, QVC, and even had her own brand, The Sexiest Beauty. Despite her vast experience, Heather is blown away by what Angie has created with blinger®. The product, the brand, the community, the mission, and the team all feed Heather's passion for product and innovation in the beauty industry. When asked what she loves most about blinger®, Heather replied that it's the expression on people's faces when they see the gems in their hair for the first time. Heather's passion for beauty and self-expression is reflected in her choice of crystal. She would be Passion Fuchsia Hearts, which combines her favorite color with her signature shape. Heather is a valuable member of the blinger® team, bringing her wealth of experience and contagious enthusiasm to her role as Chief Marketing Officer.
Meet Robin! Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Robin's background is in Fashion with a focus on Fashion merchandising. She began her career as a Merchandiser, but due to her husband's job in the church, Robin has been doing Administrative work for over 30 years. Despite her career shift, Robin still has a passion for fashion and loves working with blinger®. She enjoys the fun feeling that comes with blinging her hair and the extra surprise it adds to her overall look. When asked which crystal she would be, Robin chose Golden Honey. This crystal's color looks stunning in her hair, adding an extra touch of glamor to her daily routine. Overall, Robin is a vital part of the blinger® team, bringing her passion for fashion and dedication to excellence to her role in Fulfillment.
Jayda is originally from Glenmoore, PA. With a background in Commercial, Runway and Print Modeling, as well as freelance stylist work, Jayda brings a unique perspective to her role at blinger®. She is passionate about fashion and loves helping people enhance their personal style, which is why she loves working with blinger®. According to Jayda, blinger® is the perfect way for people to express their unique personality and make a statement with their accessories. When asked which crystal she would be, Jayda chose Fairy Lavender. This crystal holds a special place in her heart as it is her favorite color and reminds her of the beauty and renewal of spring. Overall, Jayda is a valuable member of the blinger® team, bringing her creativity and passion to push others to shine bright like the crystals they wear.
Glenn has over 25 years’ worth of experience guiding businesses on the protection and commercialization of intellectual property. He provides expertise on contracts; patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret protection; intellectual property clearance; and licensing. Glenn’s focus is the integration of an IP strategy with the overall business plan. Glenn received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University and his Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law where he served as a research editor for the Labor Law Journal. He is a member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bars, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Jason has a passion for photography, graphic design, and brand creation. He has over 20 years of experience working for global A-brands and maturing startups, with a core strength in creative / design leadership roles. Jason has built award-winning brands with his talent of integrating the brand with the experience. He also has an extensive and broad background in marketing, from print to digital advertising and filmmaking for and across many platforms.
